Hiring Process

1. APPLY   Submit your online application to us at www.alaskawildseafood.com/apply

2. STANDBY    Please wait for us up to 2 weeks for processing your application. Check your email often! 

3. PHONE QUESTIONNAIRE    You may be contacted for a brief phone call with some follow up questions.

4. ACCEPTED    You will receive an acceptance letter and your onboarding packet via EMAIL.

5. SUBMIT PAPERWORK  Complete and submit your onboarding packet to us as soon as possible, via the methods below. Paperwork is due before MAY 1ST of the following season.

6. BUY YOUR TICKET   Your hiring managers will inform you of the arrival window dates. Purchase your tickets as soon as possible online at www.alaskaair.com or call Alaska Airlines Reservations at 1 (800) 252-7522. Book them from your nearest airport direct to Cordova, Alaska (99574).

7. FLY UP   Pack for your 5-month stay and fly up! Once you land in Cordova, a driver will meet you at the airport to take you to the bunkhouse. 

8. COVID-19    Once you arrive at the bunkhouse, you will undergo a quarantine period with COVID-19 testing on the 7th and/or 10th day. Housing, meals, and internet is provided for you during this time. Once the quarantine period is over, the season begins!
